These 114-carat diamond-encrusted sparklers were crafted by the experts of excess over at Graff Diamonds, and were seen hugging the neck of LMFAO’s SkyBlue during Sunday’s Super Bowl half-time show. Styling Tip: For a pair of headphones this special, you can’t just wear them with any old rhinestone-emblazoned, Pauly D Affliction T-shirt. Do like SkyBlue and pair them with S&M-inspired studded leather armor, red, leopard print biker shorts, shoulder wings, and ever-so-subtle shin guards. Extra points if you can score Madonna as your crowning accessory.

Actor Sanjay Dutt seems to have hit jackpot with his latest big screen outing in Agneepath as the baddie Kaancha Cheena. And it’s hardly surprising to know that the actor is now being offered several more negative roles too. But for Sanjay, the criteria is not whether it’s a positive role or a negative one, but all that matters is that the role be an interesting one. A source close to the actor reveals that in the past few days itself, the actor has heard some scripts which called for him being the baddie, but the actor’s in no rush to cash in on the villain image. “The genre of a film or the kind of role doesn’t matter to Sanjay. As long as he finds the role interesting, he’s game for it,” says the source.

However, buzz is that the actor is now trying to concentrate only on projects that he’s confident of being commercially viable, and not take them up just because they happen to be offers from friends.

“In the past Sanjay has often done roles as a favour to friends, even when he was well aware that the film has no potential of ever working at the BO, but now he’s trying to curb those choices on the insistence of his close associates. Of course, he will still continue to work with friends, but not at the cost of his performances,” adds the source.

“Sanjay finds it hard to turn down his friends and that’s often led to professional mistakes in the past too. But on the insistence of his close aides now, he is being very choosey about his roles now and only wants to be associated with good projects. That’s also the reason why the actor’s not rushing into every film that’s coming his way.”

But apart from the films, keeping the actor busy is Sanjay’s recently launched sports league alongside actor Shilpa Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra. And though the actor’s actively involved in the project, insiders insist that films will always be a priority for him.

“The league is a business venture for him and though he’s taking a rather keen interest in it, films will always come first for him,” informs the source. “He is in a very good phase of life. He has some interesting films coming up including Zilla Ghaziabad and Department that he’s very excited about. That apart, the Munnabhai installment is set to start soon,” adds the insider.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Sanjay confirms, “Yes, the line-up is very exciting. I think every film has something interesting to offer and I’m looking forward to all of them.”

Now 99 times out of 100 I wouldn’t bother with such nonsense but I feel outraged, so for the record…” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“There is a headline that implies that I am of the opinion that the years spent under the rule of… Thatcher, was good for the soul. I’ve read the story and I must say it’s very misleading; any great working class art, fashion, youth culture etc came to be in spite of that woman and her warped right-wing views and not because of them,” he said.

The rocker had declared that kids had a better work ethic when Thatcher was the PM, and there was a different way of thinking in the 1980s.

“We were brought up under Margaret Thatcher.

“There was a work ethic — if you were unemployed, the obsession was to find work.

“Now these kids brought up under the Labour Party and whatever this Coalition thing is, say, ’Forget that, I’m not interested. I wanna be on TV’,” he said.

He, however, made it clear that was not a fan of the former Tory Premier.

“Any great working class art, fashion, youth culture etc came to be in spite of that woman and her warped right wing views and not because of them,” he said in his blog.
