There are a few things that actor Malaika Arora Khan likes in a man and a few things that put her off. Malaika says that while she is quite tolerant of men making their choice, when it comes to fashion and grooming, she is partial towards men who sport a clean shaven look over those who strut around with a stubble and an umkempt, just-out-of-bed look.

So, did she always not like men with stubbles? “Not really,” she says adding, “There was a phase, during my college days, when I thought that the unshaven look was attractive, but not anymore.”

So, does she coax her actor-producer husband Arbaaz Khan to also sport a well-groomed look all the time? “Pretty much,” she laughs.” I think he likes to have his carefree days as well, but I do urge him to look prim and proper, like a gentleman when we’re headed out together,” she smiles. Talking about what attracts her in a man, Malaika admits that she has a weird fetish. “It may sound a bit funny or even weird, but I tend to notice a man’s feet.

Ungroomed feet or even bad footwear are a big put off for me,” she says. “Of course, men sporting a stubble and those with body odour are also very putting off,” she adds. So, what are the qualities that attract her towards a man? “It has to be a well-groomed man, he should also be well-spoken and chivalrous — it is a quality that seems to be fast on the decline now-a-days,” she shrugs.
