It’s not about branching out to merchandising but about our characters reaching out to as many people as we can. This is just an alternative way to reach our characters to them, if they don’t read comics, no problem! They can buy the tees!
The retail sector already has a lot of competition — what will be your USP?
Firstly, we never look at competition when we step into any industry. We just step in because we believe in our products — our art, colours, concepts and thought process are our USP.
Mythological characters on tees — how exciting is that?
Very! All the historical characters of our country are appealing, if presented effectively and when they appear on products like these, they turn out to be even more appealing.

Where will the tees be available?
For now, online through our website www.vimanika.com but in thenear future, at offline stores too.
How do you intend to market the product?
It’s an exploratory move and we will continue in terms of the response we receive.
Mythology and fashion — are they a viable combination?
Fashion is wearing anything you believe in. You really don’t need to follow all those walking on the ramps in classy hotels and the viable part follows, once your product becomes a cult.
