Bangladesh Merchandiser & Supplier Association (BMSA) has organized a reconciliation event in Uttara, Dhaka on 25 November, 2022. More than two hundred merchandisers and suppliers have been joined the event. The event’s main motto is to build good relationships and communities to collaborate between merchandisers and suppliers.
Kazi Iftekharul Hossain, President, BGBA attend the attended the program as the chief guest while Emdad-Ul-Haq Miazi, General Secretary, BGEA attended as the special guest.
As the chief guest, Kazi Iftekharul Hossain said, “A large number of foreigners are working in our RMG sector. Despite our adequate manpower, we are unable to replace them due to a lack of technical skills. Therefore, it is very necessary to improve our technical and communication skills.”
Emdad-Ul-Haq Miazi said, “Any organization should be created with the aim of making a major contribution to the apparel industry. Besides, job opportunities are also created for job aspirants through such organizations. To achieve leading positions in industries, we need to develop our technical skills as well.”
Anisur Rahman, Director, Mahadi Fashion (Pvt) ltd; Swapan Saha, Country Manager, KGS Sourcing, and Farial Azad, Managing Director, Farial Group also flourished the program attending as the guests. Mehedi Hasan Bhuiyan, President, BMSA, presided over the event.
After completing the introduction phase, the participants of the program expressed their hope for increased cooperation with each other.
The committee members expressed their hope to make this organization an example to all and work towards increasing communication among all by organizing larger-scale programs in the future.
