Brook From MAFS Pregnancy Is The Least Scandalous Thing About Her 

This week, a bomb was dropped into the Married At First Sight universe. In case you missed it, one of this year’s brides Brook announced that she is expecting a child later this year with her ex boyfriend who she was dating before entering the show and of course there has been a lot of interest in the timeline.

Brook explained that just two weeks after finishing up on MAFS and saying goodbye to her “husband” Chris, she and Harry reunited. Now, she’s pregnant with her first child and officially engaged, following a Christmas Day proposal. Safe to say, it’s been a big six months for the Gold Coast model. “It honestly feels like everything has fallen into place,” Brook exclusively tells Woman’s Day.

As the story goes, Harry apparently was the one to break off their relationship last year, though we learned through MAFS that they pair had been together shortly before Brook arrived at the alter, which of course, threw a huge spanner into the trust they were trying to foster in their new relationship. But two weeks after the show wrapped, Harry realised he’d made a big mistake. “Yeah, I came crawling back,” Harry admitted. “I missed her a little too much.” He explains that the reason they broke up wasn’t due to infidelity, but rather, they weren’t communicating very well of “prioritising our love”.

Because he was the one to end the relationship, Brook wasn’t going to let him get back into her good graces without some work. “He had to put in the hard yards, because he broke up with me,” laughs Brook. “But no, really we were both like, ‘OK, if it didn’t work back then, what are we going to do to make it work now?’” she says. “But Harry invited me away to the Maldives a couple of weeks later for a surfing trip with his family friends and that just cemented things for me.

“We just had the most beautiful time. We were better than we had ever been.”

Why Is Everyone Talking About MAFS‘ Brook This Week?

Unfortunately, the pregnancy news isn’t the only reason people are talking about Brook this week, and she’s becoming somewhat of a notorious character in this season of Married At First Sight. Many viewers have been shocked by the way she has been treating the other women in the show this week, mocking Alissa for how she speaks, and making fun of Stella’s boots and comparing them to “stripper heels”

On top of this, Brook also sensationally left the show in a blaze of glory, only to show up later having decided she did want to be on the show. But according to teasers for this Sunday night’s episode, her troubles are far from over, with the experts appearing to call her out for her poor treatment of the other contestants. Naturally, many are speculating that she will leave the show again, though it’s unclear whether it will be by choice or force.

One this we do know is that she and Chris are, of course, no longer together. As for the full story, we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out.
