CDP calls for greater supply chain engagement

LONDON – Companies are facing up to US$120 billion in costs from environmental risks in their supply chains within the next five years, according to a new report from the CDP non-profit.

Entitled ‘Transparency to Transformation: A Chain Reaction’, the report argues that supply chain engagement will be crucial for companies to bounce back – competitive and resilient – in a rapidly changing market post-COVID.

And the CDP, formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, reveals the companies performing best in this area including several fashion brands and companies, such as Kering, VF Corp, Asics, Burberry, Fruit of the Loom and Puma.
