Christian Slater’s family rallied around him on Monday, June 9 as the actor’s four decades in film got a major badge of honor. As the Heathers alum celebrated his career achievements with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Slater’s rarely-seen daughters looked so grown up as they made a surprise appearance at the ceremony.

Accompanied by his wife Brittany Lopez on the red carpet, the Blink Twice actor made the day a family affair as he also posed with their 5-year-old daughter, whose name is unknown, as well as his 23-year-old daughter Eliana Haddon-Slater, whom he shares with ex Ryan Haddon. The toddler leaned into a summer colorscape wearing a blush pink tulle dress embroidered with vivid red, pink, blue, and yellow thread paired with gold metallic ballerina flats, while his eldest daughter wore a blue floral ruffled chiffon sundress.

Slater’s other two kids—25-year-old son Jaden Haddon-Slater, whom he also shares with Ryan, and his and Lopez's 11-month-old baby boy—weren’t in attendance at his big day. However, Slater’s career milestone was also celebrated by fellow actors including Michael Lehmann and Dexter: Original Sin co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who shared words of support during the ceremony.

"Most actors can only dream of having a career as long as yours, Christian, and the most amazing part of it is that you continue to redefine how we see you," the Buffy alum shared, reflecting on Slater’s longevity in the industry as she addressed the crowd. "You are an actor with multiple legacies who will feel like just as fresh of a discovery to teenagers watching you for the first time 20 years from now as you did when I first saw you.

The True Romance actor gave his family a sweet shoutout as he accepted the honor, sharing, "I have amazing and wonderful children [and] I can't imagine my life without them. They are the greatest.” He closed out his speech, saying, “Having a star on Hollywood Blvd. is great, but none of this would have been possible without my family and the love I have today."
