I might not be sitting poolside right now, but the long weekend reminded me that a swimsuit needs to be added to my summer shopping list. And after seeing stars like Dua Lipa, Christie Brinkley, and Kendall Jenner in the same simple-yet-sexy style, I know the one I’ll be adding.

All three stars have been sporting cherry red string bikinis this year. It’s a swimsuit you see summer after summer because it’s a classic—plus, we all know red is a confidence booster. So this season, red swimwear is high on my wishlist, though I'm still deciding between a lookalike bikini or a sexy-but-slightly-more-modest one-piece (I burn easily, so more coverage definitely isn’t a bad thing). For a classic look à la Lipa and Brinkley, grab this bikini from Quince. While there are some more affordable sets—like this $28 one from Amazon—my top and bottom aren’t the same size, so it’s easier for me to shop the styles individually. And, at just $50 total, it’s still in my budget. This top has removable padding and the bottoms have that cheeky look that’s been trending for the past few summers. But if you want more coverage, you can always grab this style instead.

At Old Navy, I’m eyeing this underwire bikini top for just $15, which is available in sizes XS through 4X. (The matching mid-rise bottoms are also on sale for $10.) The underwire gives you a little lift and offers major support, with busty shoppers saying that it keeps them “from falling out.”

For one-pieces, I’m loving Andie’s Reese Witherspoon-worn Malibu swimsuit. This is made with a compressive fabric, which shoppers say “snatches” them, and has snap buttons at the top. To make this one-piece a little sexier, you can undo a few of those to create a deep V-neck.

This red one-piece from Pink’s Frankies Bikinis collaboration is another of my favorites, and it's all because of that eyelet fabric. The small flowers give this style a sweet, feminine look. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Victoria’s Secret swimsuit without a little lift, so naturally, the top is designed with an underwire bra.
