On Thursday, Delta Goodrem announced that she married her long-term partner, Matthew Copley in a lavish ceremony on June 16. The wedding took place inside a 12th century Maltese cathedral, with the pair returning to the island where they got engaged two years ago. She announced the nuptials in an Instagram carousel on July 10 that included a series of photos from the couple’s happy day.
“June 2025, Husband and Wife. 
,” she started the caption.
“It was more magical than we both could have dreamed. We said I do under the Maltese skies in a family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us. We are holding on to every memory from that moment, the love, the laughter, the happy tears and dancing till the sun came up. We can’t wait to come back to Australia and celebrate as Mr & Mrs.”

Goodrem and Copley first met through the music industry. He was her guitarist and they hit it off when touring together in 2017, and while their love story has blossomed in the years since, they’ve also continued as music collaborators. “Music is how we met, it’s what we both do, so it’s really about just being creative in the household,” Goodrem told Stellar Magazine in 2020.
Then, in 2023, Copley proposed while holidaying in Malta in September 2023. Goodrem announced the engagement on her Instagram with a two-photo carousel that showed the pair embracing at sunset in the first, while the second photo showed a blurry glimpse at the diamond ring.

Delta Goodrem worked with Anton Jewellery to create her wedding ring stack, according to Vogue. She revealed that her husband worked with the designer to commission a custom ring for the proposal a couple of years ago, and they have collaborated ever since.
When it came time for the pair to organise their wedding bands, Anton Jewellery was the logical choice for them both.
How Many Carats Is Delta Goodrem’s Engagement Ring?
Goodrem’s ring appears to be a three-carat round-cut diamond in a six-prong solitaire setting, according to Daily Mail. It’s also set on a fine pave band, which sees smaller diamonds span her entire finger. Though the diamond is sizeable, it is perfectly in proportion to Goodrem’s hand, and the pavé band adds a delicate touch. Solitaires are a timeless classic ring style, that in our opinions, won’t date any time soon.
It’s estimated that her ring could have cost anywhere in the ballpark of $123,000.
Goodrem opting for two wedding bands. “We chose matching gold and diamond bands and an additional heart shaped diamond band for me,” she told Vogue. Though it’s hard to catch an up-close view of the ring so far, the latter is a chunkier band that’s lined with larger diamonds than a typical pavé band, making her three-ring stack all the more showstopping.
