Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus took their relationship to the next level on May 24 as they debuted their romance on the red carpet. Since hard-launching their romance with a PDA-packed Easter post, the unlikely couple has twinned in cozy flannels and laid-back jeans on Instagram. However, Hurley and Cyrus were polar sartorial opposites on Saturday as they glammed up for the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition in Rome.

The Austin Powers alum lit up the red carpet at the Palazzo Barberini opening dinner in a Barbiecore look, thanks to a plunging hot pink dress with a body-con silhouette and long cape sleeves that trailed down to her floor-length hem. Hurley paired the dopamine-fueling gown with statement silver chandelier coin earrings, a bedazzled cuff, and a silver metallic clutch. Wearing her highlighted brown hair in a middle-parted blowout with sleek curls, Hurley highlighted her features with her signature smokey eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and nude glossy lips. The British actress made the couple’s red carpet debut a family affair, as she also posed alongside her son Damian at the event. 

Meanwhile, Cyrus contrasted his girlfriend's high-octane glam as he stepped out in a punk rock-coded black blazer jacket paired with a low-cut black t-shirt and a silver necklace. Black dress shoes and straight-legged black slacks with buttons running down the sides completed his look. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer accessorized with indoor sunglasses and a mocha brown cowboy hat trimmed with black leather and metallic embellishments.

Cyrus previously opened up about how the unlikely pair’s romance came to be, revealing that there was “chemistry” when they first met on the set of 2022’s Christmas in Paradise. However, things didn’t turn romantic until the musician was going through a tough divorce from ex-wife Firerose, which was finalized last year.

"It's just been beautiful," Cyrus said about reconnecting with Hurley during an April appearance on Apple Music Country's The Ty Bentli Show. “And again, no expectations of where we go from here other than her and her son—I do love him a lot, and it’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy."
