Everything You Need To Know About Doja Cat’s First Australian Arena Tour

Doja Cat has officially entered a new era. The Grammy-winning artist has just released Jealous Type, the first single from her upcoming fifth studio album Vie, set to drop September 26.

Produced by Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift’s right-hand man) and Y2K, the track folds pop precision into offbeat production, a balance that has become central to Doja’s sound. Its accompanying video, directed by Boni Mata in Los Angeles, leans into her flair for spectacle: hyper-stylised, satirical, and impossible to look away from.

The song has been hiding in plain sight for months. Snippets appeared in her Marc Jacobs Summer ’25 campaign, before Doja unveiled it during her headline set at Outside Lands, followed by a late-night after-party at San Francisco’s Oasis drag club where a lucky crowd got a preview of Vie.

The album follows 2023’s platinum-certified Scarlet and its deluxe extension Scarlet 2 Claude, which produced global hits like “Paint the Town Red” and “Agora Hills.” But Vie already hints at something more expansive. Speaking to V Magazine earlier this year, Doja reflected: “I know that I can make pop music, and pop is just that it’s popular … They see it as if this is some kind of football for girls and gays.” It’s the kind of provocation that sits at the heart of her artistry.

Is Doja Cat Touring Australia

Yes, alongside the single, Doja also announced her first-ever arena tour across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. The Ma Vie World Tour begins November 18 in Auckland, before heading to Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, then continuing through Asia and wrapping in Taiwan on December 21. For Australian fans, it marks her biggest production yet. She first appeared here at Melbourne’s Listen Out festival in 2019, then returned with stadium dates in 2023. This time, it’s a full-scale arena takeover.

Mark your calendars — these are the exact dates:

  • Saturday, November 22nd – RAC Arena, Perth
  • Tuesday, November 25th – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
  • Saturday, November 29th – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
  • Monday, December 1st – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
