I know it’s early, but Gigi Hadid is already my front-runner for summer’s best dressed. And, yes, it’s entirely thanks to that quirky-cute outfit you’ve probably seen all over your Instagram feed. ICYMI though, Hadid stepped out in NYC wearing Marc Jacobs’s Sculptural Gem Tweed Dress, a beaded bag from Staud, and one item that took everyone by surprise: bright orange flip-flops.
It’s not that flip-flops are a ground-breaking summer shoe, it’s that we don’t typically see them worn like that. This wasn’t an “I needed something easy and fast so I slipped these on,” moment—Hadid’s bright sandals were an essential part of her fun, sunny look.
