On the heels of a rule-breaking outfit for day one of Cannes Film Festival, Heidi Klum has hit the red carpet once again in a look that is equal parts radiant and risqué. Stepping out for the premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the Project Runway host stole the show in a plunging purple gown that absolutely dazzled onlookers in the evening light.

The supermodel's gown was form-fitting and included a small train which helped her shimmer from head to toe. She was joined at the premiere by her husband, the musician Tom Kaulitz.

The statement look served as the perfect follow-up to her first look of the festival, an Elie Saab couture floral gown, whose lengthy train seemingly violated new rules that prohibit such details.

"Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted," the organizers wrote in an updated charter. "The festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules.”

Klum isn't the only one quietly protesting the new rules, of course. Fellow Cannes attendee Halle Berry recently revealed that she was forced to change her outfit to avoid breaking the dress code.

"I had an amazing dress by Gupta that I cannot wear tonight because it’s too big of a train,” Berry told reporters during the opening night gala. “I’m not going to break the rules.”
