Images of the Week: Beyoncé Releases Renaissance

It’s a great weekend for Beyoncé fans. The superstar released her seventh studio album, Renaissance, her first since 2016’s Lemonade. Filled with references to disco and house music, this is an album to dance to.

Selena Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday last weekend with an intimate dinner party and a pink Versace princess gown. She shared on Instagram, “My twenties were a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that I will never forget. Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today. After a few days of celebrating, my heart feels full, grateful and I can say that I’m starting to really like 30.”

Hugh Jackman stopped by the Condé Nast offices to speak with Vanity Fair’s editor in chief Radhika Jones for an assembled audience of employees. He touched on inequity on Broadway, his training for The Music Man, and his love of K-Pop.

The CFDA released its official calendar for New York Fashion Week. Proenza Schouler will open the shows on September 9th. Fendi and Marni, two Italian powerhouses, will be coming stateside to present their spring 2023 shows.

Finally, Olena Zelenska, the first lady of Ukraine, appeared in a digital cover for Vogue this week, photographed by Annie Leibovitz. Zelenska discussed with writer Rachel Donadio how she has coped the past few months during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
