Actor Isabela Ferrer, who played the younger version of Blake Lively’s character in It Ends With Us, has accused Justin Baldoni of “inappropriate” behaviour and bullying as his legal battle with Blake Lively rages on.
The accusations appeared in court documents filed on August 17 and shared by E! News after the 24-year-old actor received a subpoena from Blake Lively’s legal counsel.
The accusations pertain not to behaviour on set but to behaviour during the legal dispute with Lively.
According to Ferrer’s attorneys, the actress requested that her legal fees be covered under her contract with Wayfarer Studios. However, they requested that she “relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer” before being granted compensation.
“From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer,” her lawyers have alleged in court documents. They have referred to Baloni filing a recent motion against Ferrer to “harass” her after she refused to agree with Wayfarer’s terms.
What Has Isabela Ferrer Alleged?
Ferrer’s legal team has outlined a pattern of obstructive legal filings from Bladoni designed to intimidate Fererrera and compromise her career. They have described Balondi’s motion as “yet another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress and to violate this Court’s policies on the publishing of non-party personally identifying information.”
They said that since Baldoni’s filing, Fererra has received “personal threats and hateful statements” from social media users supportive of Baldoni. “Ms. Ferrer has already had to resist Baldoni’s inappropriate conduct in connection with her response to the Lively Subpoena.”
“Unfortunately, the Motion is just the latest in a broader pattern of conduct by Baldoni to bully Ms. Ferrer,” her attorneys argued. “While Ms. Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.”
E! News has reached out to Baldoni and Lively’s legal teams but has yet to receive a response.
What Has Happened In The Justin Baldoni Blake Lively Lawsuit So Far?
In June, a U.S. District Court judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by It Ends With Us actor and director Justin Baldoni against co-star Blake Lively. Baldoni had filed a US$400 million suit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for defamation and extortion in January, in retaliation for Blake Lively’s suit lodged on December 31, 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and an orchestrated smear campaign to “destroy” her. The pair collaborated on the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2016 novel about domestic violence between 2023 and 2024, although production faced multiple delays.
Lively’s suit was accompanied by an explosive New York Times article that featured leaked texts between Baldoni and his PR team. Baldoni’s suit against the publication was also dismissed. The New York Times called the suit a “meritless attempt to stifle honest reporting.”
As reported by AP, the New York judge ruled that Baldoni could not sue Lively for defamation over claims made in a legal filing, as statements in a lawsuit are exempt from libel. The judge also determined that Baldoni’s allegations that Lively stole creative control of the film did not constitute extortion under California law.
However, the judge said Baldoni could revise the lawsuit if he wished to pursue different claims related to whether Lively breached or interfered with a contract. His legal team has indicated it plans to do so.

Isabela Ferrer is a emergin actress whose breakout role came with her portrayal of a younger version of Lily Bloom, Blake Lively’s character in It Ends With Us. Prior to It Ends With Us Ferrer had small roles in the series Evil and a short film Fire Is Burning, both released in 2024.
During the promotional tour for It Ends With Us Ferrer frequentlyf appeared with Blake Lively and referred to her producer and co-star as an “angel”, praising her warmth and mentorship. The co-stars were frequently seen holding hands at public events.
