After the week we’ve had it’s difficult to imagine wearing anything on your feet except sandals, however despite the sauna-like climate, autumn collections are starting to filter into new-in sections. This week Zara showed editors highlights of its autumn collection, and following this I saw at least six people in the industry posting about one pair of boots.
These new hero heels come in a butter and dusty blue, and have a square toe, lace up front and a high chunky heel. They have been online for only a week, and are already starting to sell out in several sizes. Quite the accomplishment in 39 degrees. Zara has now started dropping its autumn boot collection—there is also a pair of knee-high scrunch boots that defy their price tag and are bound to be popular with the fashion crowd.
