Cara Delevingne’s birthday party in Los Angeles last night drew one of the most impressive A-lister crowds we’ve seen off the red carpet this year. The almost-33-year-old star hosted the party at Bar Marmont, the cocktail bar set inside the iconic hotel, Chateau Marmont.
In attendance was one of Delevingne’s closest friends, Margot Robbie, along with fellow Australian actor Jacob Elordi. The pair are starring together in the upcoming Emerald Fennell adaptation of Wuthering Heights, with Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Elordi as Heathcliff. Early reviews from the first test screening also came in overnight and received mixed reviews, so we’re certain they had plenty to catch up on.
We also noted that Elordi’s ex-girlfriend, model Kaia Gerber, was also in attendance at Bar Marmont, as was everyone from Paris Hilton to Selena Gomez, and Julia Fox. It’s difficult to discern what the precise dress code of the event was, but our guess is black tie, as the stars mostly wore muted but glamorous outfits, with the exception of Fox, who looked no less chic in black bicycle shorts and an oversized t-shirt.
Robbie was the picture of black tie glamour, wearing black high-waisted tuxedo pants with a white halter top with a low back. She wore her hair out in her signature relaxed blowout and arrived with Jay Hernandez, who starred as Diablo alongside Robbie and Delevingne in the 2016 film, Suicide Squad. Selena Gomez was also dressed in black tie, wearing a timeless black mini skirt underneath an oversized, boxy black blazer, with sheer tights and Christian Louboutin slingbacks.
While many of the celebrity guests arrived via the front entrance, the woman of the hour entered through one of the private entrances and exited the same with with Renee Rapp. Rapp was pictured in the backseat while Delevingne drove the black car away from the venue at the end of the night.
