Jenna Ortega is single-handedly keeping the no-pants trend alive with a Met Gala after party look that featured a tuxedo jacket-inspired bodysuit and little else. Following the lavish annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, the Wednesday actress swapped her silver gown for the onesie, threw on a pair of tights, and arrived at co-chair A$AP Rocky's post-Gala festivities ready to dance the night away.

Ortega arrived hand in hand with Sabrina Carpenter, who also went pantsless that evening, in her case on the Met Gala red carpet. In a look strikingly similar to Ortega's, the "Espresso" singer wore a burgundy blazer by Pharrell for Louis Vuitton—and absolutely no pants.

As for Ortega's Met Gala look? The actress leaned all the way into this year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with a strapless metal gown made entirely out of silver rulers. The design came courtesy of Balmain. In a press release, the brand described the dress as a "poetical ode to couture and craftsmanship." For beauty, Ortega opted for sculpted waves, shimmering smoky eyes, and a dusty pink lip. 

The look was a slight change of course for Ortega, who typically embraces a goth glam aesthetic. Case in point? Her long bout of method dressing alongside Winona Ryder for the premiere of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, which hit theaters last fall.
