It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… Kylie Jenner wearing two sets of pants? This weekend, the reality star and beauty mogul took to Instagram to upload a new fit pic (as one does). The goal with such a post is to capture your attention and Jenner’s pants certainly achieved that. Featuring two waistbands, her troupe l’oeil pants almost makes it look like she’s doubled up on pants and worn them on top of each other—maybe a pair of jeans over some sweats. But the trippy style is all one design, courtesy of the trendy French label Jacquemus.
They’re called the “layered” Felix jeans, retail for $610, and first made their debut on the fall 2020 runway. The zipper of the pants can actually be undone to reveal a full pair of cream cotton shorts underneath, as shown on the catwalk. The experimental silhouette indeed is a head-turner, but Jenner styled the rest of her outfit in a way that complemented the high-fashion bottoms. She finished off the look with a knitted cropped tank top, sleek gold jewelry, Christian Dior sunglasses, Air Force One sneakers, and a mini white bag that was also by Jacquemus. Clearly she’s a super fan of the brand, and if someone’s going to pull off one of its riskier runway styles, it’s Kylie. She loves a catwalk look.
