I’ve worked in the beauty industry—first as a makeup artist and then as a beauty journalist—for 15 years, and you can almost always tell when a celebrity is taking a desperate lunge at relevance, chasing a quick buck, or launching a side hustle to stay busy. Then there are the true beauty girls. Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Hailey Bieber? They struck me as beauty obsessives long before they launched their brands. Scarlett Johansson? Not so much. And it usually shows in the quality and success of the product. The same can be said for Haus Labs, Lady Gaga’s beauty brand, which officially landed at Sephora Australia this July.

Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation, $85
This is the foundation that put Haus Labs on the map, it went viral on TikTok, and Alix Earle’s a fan, which means we’ve got that in common. The formula is featherlight, ideal for sticky, humid weather, and leaves a radiant, smoothing finish. I apply it gradually, almost like spot concealing, to get that second-skin effect.
It’s a bit matte for me in winter, but right now? It’s the perfect satin-skin base. Plus, it comes in a game-changing 51 shades with a variety of undertones. These days, wide shade ranges are the norm, but too often brands forget that a perfect match isn’t just about depth. Undertone matters just as much.
Some of the most common praise for the Triclone foundation is that it “melts into skin seamlessly”—and I have to agree. Most foundations designed for fair skin tones leave my pale complexion looking washed out. Shade 040 is a dream for my fair-neutral skin. It’s so undetectable I can use it to spot conceal without looking like a flesh-toned Picasso.
Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating + De-Puffing Concealer
I have naturally dark under-eyes and dry skin, so I’m picky with concealer, and this one’s a dream. TikTok’s beauty community call it the best concealer they’ve ever tried, and honestly, they’re not wrong.
It’s skincare-meets-makeup: packed with hydrating hyaluronic acid, brightening niacinamide, and a patent-pending fermented arnica that calms irritation and doesn’t aggravate blemishes. It offers full coverage while still looking like skin—plump, fresh, hydrated skin.
A solid 10/10.
Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick
I’m a blush obsessive, and the Haus Labs blush balm is easily one of my favourite launches this year. For my fair skin, I love Glassy Lilac, a bright violet that makes my blue eyes pop. The finish is truly glassy—so glossy, in fact, that the blush works as a highlighter-meets-blush hybrid, giving the cheeks a naturally lifted, luminous look.
It’s richly pigmented, so I dab it on before foundation with a damp beauty blender or angled brush to get a smooth, even finish. Once my base is done, I top up with what’s left on the brush for a soft second layer.
Sometimes I’ll finish with a swipe of the Haus Labs Bio Radiant Glassy Highlighter Balm in Champagne Quartz on the lids for a glassy sheen, but, this blush gives so much glow that I rarely need to double up on the cheeks.
PhD Hybrid Lip Glaze
One of the most devastating moments of my youth was the discontinuation of Lancôme’s Juicy Tubes. I’ve matured since then (sort of), but I’ve spent years hunting for a lip gloss that delivers the same mirror-like shine without the sticky finish.
Enter: PhD Hybrid Lip Glaze. I love the shade Guava for a soft pinky-peach flush, but if you’re into those 2000s chocolatey nudes trending right now, Praline and Cocoa are both winners.
