Carrying on the grand tradition of revenge dressing, Lily Allen took to the stage at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Monday, stepping out during her performance of “4chan Stan” in a dress made out of receipts.
Allen brought part of the song’s scathing narrative arc to life by slowly pulling at the long sage-green fabric wrapped around her like a dress, revealing a train made of receipts.
But they weren’t any old receipts. The dress was printed with handwritten lyrics and receipts from tequila bars and the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman, detailing gifts her ex apparently bought for another woman. The look was a nod to the “paper trail” her thinly veiled autobiographical character discovers in her husband’s bottom drawer. And it’s not just Bergdorf — there’s a weekend in Montauk referenced in the song, as well as some unreferenced details: a staggering tequila bar bill, screenshotted text conversations and lyrics from the song itself.
As Lily unravelled the dress, she revealed a custom Self-Portrait ruffled sheer lace bodysuit, burgundy patent hot pants, and an Agent Provocateur bra underneath. Stunning, no notes.

Lily Allen has worked closely with set designer Anna Fleischle and stylist Mel Ottenberg to bring the many iconic breakup tracks on her album to life. In one sequence, she sings “Pussy Palace” from a bed, while rifling through a Duane Reade bag — presumably the same one in which she finds “sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside.”
News of Lily Allen and David Harbour’s marriage breakdown broke in early 2025, and since then, proceedings have been tumultuous.
Lily Allen released West End Girl in October 2025, an album that made the reasons for the split pretty explicit, depicting an unnamed husband’s flagrant infidelity and professional jealousy, and her marital misery. It was a relatable record for any woman who’s wasted a lot of time trying to please a man who says he loves you but acts like he hates you, and it has been a runaway success.
Harbour has since had a tricky time. A woman identified herself as the Madeline of one of the most famous songs on the album, and he then became entangled in a rumoured feud with Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown. In January 2026, it was announced that Harbour had dropped out of the upcoming film Behemoth! with Olivia Wilde to focus on his mental health.
Lily Allen, meanwhile, has started dating Jonah Freud, the 28-year-old great-great-grandson of Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud.
