Some dresses are so good they merit to be worn twice. At least, that's the memo actress Lily Gladstone is sending with her latest red carpet look at the 2025 SAG Awards. The Killers of the Flower Moon actress and former Oscars nominee stepped out on the red carpet in a black shimmering Gucci gown featuring a square neckline, short sleeves, and tiered fringe details. Turns out, the dress is a re-wear from last year's Vanity Fair Oscars party. It was a hit once, and it's a hit again.

Gladstone and Gucci both made headlines last year when the actress collaborated with the Italian house for her Oscars look, working alongside the Indigenous craftsman and designer Joe Big Mountain and the actress' stylist, Jason Rembert. For the Oscars red carpet, Gucci's former creative director Sabato De Sarno and Joe Big Mountain, who helms the brand Ironhorse Quillwork, created a custom velvet midnight blue strapless gown for Gladstone that featured a matching cape adorned with quillwork. Later in the evening, while stepping out for the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Gladstone changed into her second look, a black gown featuring cape short sleeves and beaded fringe that she took out of retirement for the 2025 SAG Awards.

However, Gladstone updated the look by switching the accessories. While last year she opted for a quillwork necklace, this year, she accessorized with statement drop earrings that match two embellishments on her neckline.

This is Gladstone's latest fashion statement after a year of back-to-back red carpet moments that used her platform to elevate Indigenous artists, including Big Mountain, Keri Ataumbi, Jamie Okuma, and Himikalas Pamela Baker. As a collaborator of designers who champion sustainability in their work, like Gabriela Hearst, it's no surprise Gladstone is bringing visibility to this subject via her 2025 SAG Awards look.
