While Netflix has yet to confirm a third season of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the squad itself is already in motion with a brand-new lineup announced yesterday. Cue the drama, the redemption arcs, and six fresh rookies ready to hit the field.
The mega-viral docuseries gave viewers front-row seats to one of the selection process of most elite and cut-throat cheerleading squads on the planet, lead by DCC director Kelli Finglass. If you’ve seen even one episode, you know the role goes far beyond superficial sparkle. It’s blistered feet, ice packs, 12-hour days, and a level of discipline that would make Olympians sweat.

Before they even step onto the field at AT&T Stadium, these women are sprinting 50 yards in cowboy boots, executing razor-sharp jump splits, and pulling off full professional glam entirely on their own. And that’s before you consider the full-time jobs many cheerleaders hold alongside year-round appearances, rehearsals, and media commitments that come with the prestige of the uniform.
So when the 2025 team was announced on Instagram on July 17, fans of the show and the squad were watching closely. And they weren’t disappointed: six new rookies have officially made the team, including Australian Faith Ward, and Jenna Waller, the fan-favourite who was cut in the final stages of training camp last season.
“OUR TEAM 6 perfect hardworking amazing & dedicated DCC ROOKIES!!!!!!” former rookie Charly Barby commented. “So incredibly deserving. What an amazing summer and an even better season to start!!!!”
Here’s everything you need to know about the rookies who made the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders 2025 team.
Jenna Waller
They say you have to fight for what’s yours — and Jenna Waller did just that.
On season two of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, viewers watched Waller reach the final stages of training camp before being cut from the 2024 roster. Her elimination, as the last hopeful released, was one of the season’s most heartbreaking moments.
But in 2025, Waller returned with something to prove, and this time, she made it count. The University of Oklahoma graduate and former OU Pom squad member earned a second shot at training camp, secured one of just six coveted rookie spots, and officially became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
Former rookie Charly Barby, who also experienced being cut during training camp, marked the moment with a celebratory TikTok. “You look happier … Thanks my comeback girl made the team,” the text read, just before Waller appeared on screen for a hug. Barby captioned the post, “MY JENNA LAST CUTS -> COMEBACK GIRLS!!!! Forever so proud of you.”

Brenley Herrera
Another 2025 rookie is Brenley Herrera, a Fort Worth native and former Texas Tech pom dancer. According to her Instagram, Herrera spent four years on the university’s dance team before making the leap to DCC.
Just days before the official team reveal, she shared a carousel of snapshots from auditions and training camp with the caption, “life is really good :).” After the announcement, she posted a second carousel featuring her new uniform and fellow DCC teammates, writing, “i’m still at a complete loss for words… but i’m so honored and excited to announce that i’m officially a DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADER!!!!!! ”
Veteran cheerleader Kayla Hayes commented, “SO PROUD OF YOU! You did it! Cannot wait to dance with you all season long! Love you so much”

Faith Ward
Faith Ward is bringing some Down Under flair to the 2025 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders rookie class. Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, the 22-year-old previously danced aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas.
Following the official team announcement, Ward marked the milestone on TikTok by holding up her new uniform with the caption, “Officially the 1st New Zealand & 3rd Australian to make DCC .” She added, “So incredibly honoured
.”
In another TikTok, Ward joined fellow rookies Charly Barby and Kelly Villares for the viral “is this illegal” trend by PinkPantheress, captioning the video, “Someone pinch me Beyond grateful to be dancing with my gals @Kelly Villares @charly.barby.”

Morgan Perschy
Another member of the DCC 2025 rookie class is Morgan Perschy. A former dancer for the Arizona State University team, Perschy was among several rookies who attended the DCC Prep Intensive earlier this year — a key step in the journey to the squad.
“The best weekend at the @dccheerleaders Prep Intensive,” she wrote on Instagram in March 2025. “So grateful for this experience! Feeling so inspired.”
Perschy celebrated her selection on Instagram Stories, writing, “I am so honoured to announce that I am officially a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader The opportunity of a lifetime
GO COWBOYS!”

Madeline Unger
Madeline “Maddy” Unger is among the fresh talent joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for the 2025 season. A Nebraska native and recent University of Nebraska–Lincoln graduate, Unger spent her college years performing with the Husker Scarlets Dance Team and officially graduated in May 2025.
In March, she attended the DCC Prep Intensive and shared a carousel of photos from the weekend on Instagram, writing, “What an amazing + inspiring weekend in Dallas .”
Unger has now officially earned a spot on the squad, marking the moment with a heartfelt message on Instagram: “I’m so honored to represent this incredible organization! GO COWBOYS ”

Parker Kilpatrick
Rounding out the new DCC additions is Parker Kilpatrick, who brings both collegiate experience and Cowboys spirit to the 2025 rookie class. A College Station, Texas native, Kilpatrick trained at Elevate Dance Center before joining the pom team at the University of Texas, where she graduated in May 2023.
She’s no stranger to the Cowboys franchise either. Before earning her place on the DCC squad, Kilpatrick danced with the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue, the team’s high-energy co-ed hip-hop crew and drumline.
After the DCC revealed its newest rookie class on Instagram, Kilpatrick commented, “THE MOST AMAZING SURPRISE!!!.” On the same post, veteran cheerleader Kleine Powell added her support, writing, “RAHHHHH SO PROUD OF YOU GIRLS!!!!!! BIG MAMA LOVES YOU!!!!! @jennawaller_, @morganperschy, @parker.kilpatrick, @madelineunger, @flexi_faith, and @brenleyherrera.”
