The serum-like formula brightens and de-puffs, too.

When it comes to my makeup routine, I like to keep it simple. Makeup primer? Hardly use it. Highlighter? They’re all collecting dust. Eyeshadow? I only wear it on special occasions—you get the idea. But there’s one product that I’ll always use, regardless if I’m going out or working from home, and that’s concealer.
Even on days when I don’t want to “put on” makeup, I’ll still dab a dot or two of concealer under my eyes to zhuzh them up, as well as spot- conceal breakouts (I’m in my adult acne era, apparently!). Luckily, I found a solution that covers up my problem areas and restores my skin back to life, giving it a healthy, lit-from-within glow: Versed’s Skin Solution Serum Concealer.

Like the name suggests, this $15 serum concealer doubles as skin care and feels just as lightweight as serum. It also features ingredients you’d find in an eye cream or moisturizer, like caffeine to help de-puff under-eyes, and squalane to lock in moisture, improve skin texture, calm inflammation and redness, regulate oil production, and protect the skin barrier. Another star ingredient? Kojic acid, which brightens the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation and helps revive dull skin.
In addition to its bountiful skin care benefits, the creamy formula blends like a dream and keeps my complexion fresh and radiant. On good skin days, I’ll typically just apply two to three dots under my eyes, because it gives them a soft, luminous finish. But if my skin is inflamed or if I’m dealing with breakouts, I’ll dab a few more dots around my face. What I like the most is that the medium coverage concealer is buildable, but it never feels thick or heavy. Instead, my skin looks healthy, hydrated, and, well, like skin.

Another cool feature? The concealer is self-setting, according to the brand, so you don’t have to worry about it caking, creasing, or disappearing. And I can confirm that I’ve never had to set it with powder for it to stay put. I’ve worn it for eight-plus hours—in the Texas humidity, at that—without having any issues.
I’m not the only one who swears by the concealer, either. One Target reviewer said it’s “so hydrating” and “lasted all day long.” Another 55-year-old shopper said it “works beautifully” and “doesn’t crease,” adding, “A little goes a long way,” while another fan echoed similar sentiments, noting that it’s “a great concealer for mature under eyes.”
