Another American it girl beauty brand is coming to Australia, this time courtesy of makeup artist Bobbi Brown. From 10pm tonight (Thursday), Australians will be able to shop Jones Road Beauty, a brand that creates low-fuss, multi-purpose products that deliver a fresh, no-makeup, makeup look.
Jones Road Beauty was founded in 2020 — four years after Brown exited her eponymous makeup brand — with a simple mission to create easy-to-use makeup products that keep skin looking like skin. The products are spiked with skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin hydrated, and jojoba oil for added nourishment, which is a huge plus for lovers of multi-purpose products (us).
Jones Road Beauty is a long-awaited launch for Aussie beauty lovers, who have been coveting the brand since its What The Foundation went mega-viral on TikTok in 2022. The sheer, tinted moisturiser-like foundation received a lot of attention for its extremely light coverage and fragrance.
Though we haven’t got our hands on it yet, we’ll comfortably take cues from makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes, who at the time, praised the product for it’s light weight, blendability, and dewy finish. She also noted that the “herbaceous” scent isn’t offensive to her and that it also doesn’t hang around.
Fast forward three years, and the range has expanded to include a more traditional tinted moisturiser (which we definitely want to try) and complexion products that promise a lit-from-within glow. Ahead, we share the few products we’ll be buying as soon as the brand launches on Thursday night.
