Rashidul Islam Russel, Managing Director of Aux & Hue Pvt. Limited; Ariful Islam, CEO of Aux & Hue Pvt. Limited; Tareq Amin, Founder & CEO, Textile Today and Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology and Executive Editor of Textile Today were present at the event and had prominent discussions on innovations in the textile and apparel industry.

With a growth rate of 55% from 2002 to 2012 industries’ process flow chart is still not improved. Readymade Garment (RMG) and textile industries need innovative solutions. The textile industry still uses harsh chemicals in pretreatment, dyeing, and finishing.

These chemicals increase ETP cost, process costs, and pollute the environment. It takes more than 1000 gallons for a single pair of jeans and requires 713 gallons of water in all the manufacturing processes of a single T-shirt. RASS Biotech is working on innovative solutions to solve these problems and lead the environment in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.

Whereas, Textile Today is acting as a functional and effective ‘Innovation Hub’. As an Innovation Hub, it helps, facilitates, innovates and grows factories, suppliers, professionals, learners, etc. in a systematic approach.
