Selena Gomez Just Put a Dazzling Twist on Meghan Markle’s Signature Shoe Style

My entire life, I’ve faced a fashion conundrum in regard to footwear. On one hand, I detest wearing heels; but on the other, I love getting some added height, especially since I’m on the shorter side. Luckily, it’s become en vogue in recent months to sport itty-bitty, even practical, heels—just take Selena Gomez’s recent look for example. 

While attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival last weekend, the actress wore sparkly cap-toe pumps with a short, chunky heel. She paired the shoes with a long, white structured coat and a bubblegum pink mini dress. Although Gomez’s entire look was a hit in my book, I’m most obsessed with her darling shoes—especially their cap-toe design, which Meghan Markle is also a fan of. No matter how simple the outfit, this detail always adds a touch of elegance.

I love the flowy-pants-pointy-shoe outfit formula, so I can definitely see myself wearing these pointed cap-toe heels with wide-leg trousers or jeans.
