We just know that when season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty drops onto Prime Video, you’ll all start wondering whether the show’s stars are married. In the case of Gavin Casalegno, we only have bad news (for you, it’s actually great news for him): he’s married.
In November 2024, we pronounced his wedding as the surprise celebrity wedding of the year. Surrounded by floral arrangements and atop rolling hills, Gavin Casalegno married his girlfriend Cheyanne King. Casalegno, who is best known for playing Jeremiah in The Summer I Turned Pretty, dropped the news to his fans on Instagram.
“Forever captivated by you,” the shared post read. Cheyanne quickly changed her surname (and Instagram handle) from King to Casalegno. The wedding venue was adorned with an extravagant floral arch and the bride wore a white strapless gown with detached lace sleeves. Her hair was worn up showing off a large, gold crucifix necklace.
Fans were shocked by the wedding drop, with one commenter noting “Okay hard launch !!!!!” in the comments section of the Instagram post. The surprise was compounded by the fact that Casalegno, 25, has never full confirmed his relationship with Cheyanne. The celebrity relationship is so low key, that we still aren’t sure when exactly the couple got together. People notes that Cheyenne was first seen in an Instagram shot with Gavin around September 2023.
Meanwhile, Gavin had been in a relationship with model Larsen Thompson for six years, ending in August 2022.
Since their wedding announcement, Cheyanne has posted Gavin more and more on her Instagram, including a recent video in June 2025 that shows the pair moving into their first home together, seven months after tying the knot.

Cheyanne Casalegno, nee King, is now married to actor Gavin Casalegno. Cheyanne’s Instagram announces that she’s the “daughter of the highest god” and “unashamedly obsessed with [her] creator”, hinting that she’s very religious. Her LinkedIn suggests Cheyanne King is a nurse, having graduated from Baylor University with a nursing degree.
Fans of TSITP have remarked that the brunette beauty occasionally looks like Gavin’s co-star, Lola Tung, in her IG selfies.
