Regional touring festival Spilt Milk is officially back for 2025. It’s been a tough couple of years for Australian music festivals with iconic music events like Splendour in the Grass cancelled for a second year in the row. So, we were elated to see after being cancelled in 2024, Spilt Milk will be touring Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and the Gold Cost in December.
And with a lineup including Kendrick Lamar and Docheii (yes) just announced for 2025, fans are rightly losing their minds (“No way Kendrick is gonna be strolling around Ballarat,” wrote on user on the announcement post on Instagram capturing our thoughts exactly).
The travelling festival started in 20016 and has sold out within hours every single year of launching, and we suspect this year will be no different. Below, everything you need to know including where to get your hands on presale tickets.
Spilt Milk Lineup
Pulitzer prize winning rapper Kendrick Lamar will be headlining, hot off his much hyped Super Bowl performance, a string of Grammy Awards and a contract with Chanel. Given Australia is missing out on his world tour in 2025, this is reason enough to get excited. He’ll be joined by Doechii making her first trip to Australia after her track ‘Anxiety’ reached #1 on the ARIA charts along with Dominic Fike, Nessa Barrett and, to the delight of millennials everywhere, the one and only Rebecca Black (if you have no idea who the ‘Friday’ legend is, educate yourself).

Will Kendrick Lamar Do A Side Show?
If you’re not a festival girlie (not all of us are pro jamming up against other boho crochet wearing music acolytes in high summer heat) most festivals have side shows.
To answer your first question, it’s unlikely we’ll see a Kendrick Lamar sideshow as usually a headline act is signed exclusively to a festival to ensure ticket sales.
But, there’s good news.

Doechii fans could be in luck. While there’s no confirmation Doechii is not listed as an exclusive artist and our fashion week favourite may announce extra performances.
