The $39 Australian Tanning Serum Margot Robbie’s Makeup Artist Loves

Margot Robbie just wrapped the most talked-about press tour in history but even her witchy wardrobe couldn’t outshine her signature red carpet glow. Legendary makeup artist Patti Dubroff — the mind behind the Olsen twins’ early 2000s red carpet glam, Sofia Richie’s viral wedding beauty, and Hollywood’s most luminous faces — jumped on Instagram this week to share a prep product she discovered while she was in Australia and given we’re obsessed with all things event tangentially related to Margot Robbie and Wuthering Heights, we were listening up.

“I travel constantly for work all over the world and certain places have signature in Australia it’s this, glowy bronze skin barely there makeup nothing overworked it feels very intentional,” the makeup artist said on TikTok. Dubroff discovered Three Warriors Hydrabronze Tan Drops ($39) a product that creates the natural look Robbie is famous for.

The serum-self tan hybrid is infused with Kakadu Plum, Tasmanian Kelp and Hyaluronic Acid — ingredients that read like a love letter to the Southern Hemisphere — delivering her signature seamless look.

Robbie’s signature is honeyed, sun-drenched dewiness that never looks overworked. To create the “effortless” look, Dubroff advised mixing three drops into moisturiser for a soft, warm glow and adding a few more for a deeper tone.

The tip we loved was building a natural shadow underneath the cheekbones in lieu of contouring but applying a little of the serum with a sculping brush for a seamless sculpted look.

If you’re always looking for a product rec Dubroff’s account is one to follow. She’s also shared products she used on tour for Robbie’s makeup ,favouring rosey tones like the Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matt Lip Colour in Intuitive and an eye pencil in Contour Clair eye from Chanel beauty. Last year, she went viral when she broke down exactly how to achieve the Olsen twins’ “Indie Sleaze” makeup look.

We’re taking note.
