The Chanel Métiers d’Art 2026 show is an ode to NYC

The brand presented its Métiers d’Art 2026 show by Matthieu Blazy on the platform of the Bowery subway station. Models walked on and off train cars and up and down the platform in an effortless, laissez-faire attitude. Think: your daily subway ride to work, made endlessly more chic. The collection includes classic Chanel styles, reimagined. There were leopard-print skirt suits, red Opera gloves and Art Deco-inspired aesthetics throughout. The show came on the heels of another exciting announcement: the appointment of A$AP Rocky as a new House ambassador. The news came with a campaign video starring him and ambassador Margaret Qualley. It’s lively and expressive in a silent-film style, fittingly set on the streets of New York. It’s no wonder that the French Maison has taken the internet by storm.
