The Venice Film Festival red carpets have been packed with haute couture-clad A-Listers bustling to promote their films. But after dark, another fashion event takes place. amFAR summons a glam crowd who gathered at the Giovanni Nicelli Airport, a relic of the 1920s, to celebrate and raise money for amfAR, a non-profit dedicated to supporting AIDS research, prevention, education, and advocacy.
