The North Face Has Your Inside Shoe Needs Covered

Visits: 48

It’s been a big year for cozy footwear. And not your garden-variety house slippers, either. Everywhere you look, men seem to be embracing footwear oddities from streetwear-cosigned Crocs to weirdo water shoes and blob-like sneakers. But cold weather requires a different sort of coziness. And if you’re in the market, the label behind everyone’s favorite puffer jacket—The North Face—has got you covered with a handful of nice-looking styles.

First up is the brand’s “Thermoball” mule, a warm and comfortable slip-on that pairs puffed-up insulation with a high-traction rubber outsole. That means it can handle a slosh around a campsite just as well as a quick shuffle around the corner to pick up a coffee. (If you’re looking for something that can handle some serious snow, though, consider the Nuptse bootie.)

Next is the “Eqbc,” The North Face’s take on the design-forward designer sandal. These slippers come with a rubber sole, and the upper is made of technical mesh fabric and ripstop nylon fabric, complete with adjustable bands with velcro and buckled straps. (These details give a similar vibe to much more expensive styles from labels like Prada, Suicoke, and Visvim.)

And lastly, there is the “Nomad” clog, a minimalist silhouette lined with fleece and comes with just enough of a utilitarian edge. This style is currently exclusive to Japan, but fingers crossed that it’ll make its way stateside sooner rather than later. Until then, you’ve got plenty of indoor-cozy options.
