After two long years, everyone’s favourite sullen teenager Wednesday Addams is finally back on our screens. That’s right, the second season of Wednesday finally landed on Netflix on August 6, but we suspect you already know that, if you’ve landed on this article.
With four episodes currently available to stream, the supernatural series has offered more questions than answers. The season kicks off with Wednesday returning to Nevermore Academy for her second year, but her academic program is quickly derailed when she sees a vision of her werewolf best friend and roommate, Enid (played by Emma Myers), meet her untimely end. Add to that a mysterious and murderous avian (someone who has the ability to control birds) and a secret outcast experimentation program at the school, and safe to say, Wednesday has been one busy girl.

But sadly, though Netflix was basically responsible for inventing the much-loved past time of binge-watching television after it became known for dropping an entire season of a show at once, over recent years, the streamer has mixed it up.
Netflix doesn’t typically favour a week-to-week release, though it does love to split a season in half and drop them a month apart. This has been the case for the highly-anticipated Jenna Ortega series, leading the most impatient among us (so, all of us) to wonder when part two, and of course Lady Gaga’s cameo, will finally be on our screens.
The answer is September 3 at 5pm AEST (or 3pm if you’re based in Perth). The second part includes another four episodes that will no doubt rock us to our core, open up even more questions, but hopefully also answer them by the time the credits run.
The blessing in the drawn out release is that Jenna Ortega will likely continue to deliver exceptional red carpet looks for the next month, and for that, we’re grateful.
