Tish Cyrus is sharing rare comments revealing exactly what she thinks about her daughters’ relationships. The star, who shares daughters Miley, 32, Noah, 25, and Brandi, 38, with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus, was the ultimate proud mom as she reflected on her daughters’ partners during the latest episode of her Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast.

Chatting with guest star Harry Jowsey, the Cyrus matriarch revealed what she thinks of Miley’s boyfriend Maxx Morando, Noah’s fiancé Pinkus, and Brandi’s boyfriend Matt Southcombe—and she couldn’t be happier for her daughters. “All my girls are in such super-healthy, amazing relationships,” she gushed to the reality TV star. Tish also appeared to reference her own romantic history as she explained, “I love love and I think that they have been much more cautious in love than I was, and taken longer to make sure it's the right person.”

The podcaster, who is married to Dominic Purcell, added that her girls had done a great job making sure their partners had “no red flags.”

Miley—who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth—rarely speaks publicly about her relationship with Morando, but the Lilly drummer has increasingly joined the “Flowers” singer for red carpet appearances. Showing his closeness with Tish, Morando posed with both her and Miley while stepping out at the SNL50 red carpet on February 16. 

Cyrus and Morando, who’ve been romantically linked since 2021, are reportedly living together and “very happy” with their relationship, a source told People last February. “Miley has changed a lot in the past couple of years. She seems more calm and harmonious,” they shared at the time. “Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy. She is very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”

Meanwhile, Cyrus shared rare comments about her relationship with the fellow musician while also revealing how their age gap affects their dynamic (he’s 26 while she’s 32). “He looks at life really differently than I do,” she told Harper's Bazaar in November. “He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters… Honestly, he’s raised our dog off Reddit. I’m like, ‘Are you sure we’re supposed to be doing this?’ And he’s like, ‘On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah.’”

However, she said despite their differences, she’s found a lot in common with Morando. “He’s very similar to me. We just don’t take life too seriously,” she added.
