Working at Who What Wear UK requires spending a lot of time browsing new-in sections, meaning our personal shopping lists are rather extensive. I’m a relatively safe dresser and avoid anything too loud or likely to date, so I tend to favour classic tailoring, pretty midi dresses and blouses worn with jeans.
So what’s caught my eye this month? This is the month where many of us are having a shift in mindset and starting to plot our autumn and winter wardrobes. I was still in full-on summer mode until yesterday’s monsoon-like conditions, and all that rain made me start thinking about ankle boots and trench coats.
For autumn, I’m after another pair of Marks and Spencer’s high-cut ballerina pumps, a jazzy animal-print fleece from & Other Stories and a pair of lace-up ankle boots from Arket. I couldn’t possibly buy all the jackets and boots I’m saving to wish lists, so as they say, sharing is caring.
