The Sunday of London Fashion Week has become quite a special day in the catwalk schedule ever since Victoria Beckham decided to pick up her show from New York and bring it onto her home turf three seasons ago. In the lead up to the runway we spend the week watching out for clues on social media as what the collection will look like, whether full Team Beckham will be out in force (very few editors—even the coolest ones—can resist looking out for them on the FROW and subsequently try and take a casual snap) and what VB will choose to wear for her runway bow. It’s the latter that we know sets the scene for her new-season outfit choices and, in general, a key trend that many of us will end up wearing. We remember when, back in September 2018, she chose to pair a camel blazer with tailored trousers and it became a look that started to infiltrate Instagram and the high street not long after. There are influencers and then there is Victoria.
