British tennis star Emma Raducanu, 22, is one of the sport’s favourite It-girls. Despite links to British nepo baby Romeo Beckham, she’s currently without a boyfriend and sending the (admittedly niche) tennis world rumour mill into overdrive. Currently, Raducanu’s rumoured suitors include two fan-favourite tennis hunks: 22-year-old French Open champion Carlos Alcaraz and 23-year-old fellow Brit Jack Draper.
All three will converge at Wimbledon this week, so here’s everything we know about Emma Raducanu – and her relationships with Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper.
Is Emma Raducanu Dating Carlos Alcaraz?
If Draper’s comments sparked fan fiction, Carlos Alcaraz, who is currently single, might be edging ahead in the race for Raducanu’s heart.
The pair are set to team up in the mixed doubles at the US Open in August, and Raducanu was spotted cheering Alcaraz on at the Queen’s Club Championships ahead of Wimbledon.
She’s spoken warmly about their long-standing bond, telling The Guardian they share a “real genuine connection.”
“It is nice, and I think for all of us, we really value those connections that we had from when we were young,” she said. “Because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age… The ones that you’ve known for a long time mean a lot more to you.”
On Alcaraz’s game, she added: “I saw some really cool drop volleys and I was like: ‘Yes, let’s save some of that!’ But he’s got plenty of magic to bring to New York.”
Others have noticed their chemistry, too. “Emma and Carlos’ friendship was the talk of Queen’s – people think there’s something going on because they have such a spark,” a source told The Sun. “They seem to be very happy and relaxed with each other.”
The buzz became so intense that Raducanu addressed it directly. “I’m glad the internet is having fun, and we’re providing some entertainment for everyone,” she told the BBC, insisting their relationship is platonic—for now.

Jack Draper’s relationship with Emma Raducanu had tennis fans speculating earlier this year when he gushed about the former US Open star in an interview with The Times.
“She has always been there for me. I’ve always been there for her,” the 23-year-old said. “She’s extremely bubbly, very kind, very thoughtful, always giggling, really smart. A really, really, really good girl.”

According to Sky Sports, Raducanu is currently ranked World No.36 and has recently reclaimed her position as British No.1 after defeating Katie Boulter at Queen’s. Raducanu shot to fame as a teenager stunning the tennis world by qualifying for the US Open and securing a Grand Slam title in 2021. She reached a career-high ranking of No.10 in July 2022 but has struggled with injury setbacks since.
She has undergone multiple wrist and ankle surgeries, missing both the French Open and Wimbledon in 2023. This year, she pulled out of the French Open due to back spasms.
“I just kept pushing through because people were telling me I wasn’t tough enough… but I knew it felt more than just soreness,” she told TNT Sports. “I wish I would have listened to myself sooner.”
Emma Raducanu’s Stalker Incident
Raducanu’s struggles haven’t been limited to the court. In February 2025, she was harassed by a stalker during the Dubai Championships, forcing her to hide behind an umpire’s chair mid-match. The man had followed her across four tournaments, approached her near a hotel, and presented her with a letter.
“I couldn’t see the ball through tears,” Raducanu told BBC Sport. “I could barely breathe.”
She criticised tournament officials for their initial handling of the incident but said security has since improved. “Now it is being dealt with better… I’m always with someone and always being watched.”
Wimbledon organisers have already taken measures to ensure her safety, blocking the individual, who has since been banned from all Tour events, from entering via the public ballot.
“Wimbledon and everyone did an amazing job,” she said. “I know I’m not the first athlete to go through this, and I probably won’t be the last–not just as an athlete, but as a woman.”
Did Emma Raducanu Date Romeo Beckham?
Emma Raducanu was linked to Romeo Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, in 2024 after the 21-year-old footballer attended one of her matches. Beckham is a tennis fan and trained with Andy Murray for five years, so his presence in the stands at Wimbledon last year could have been due to his sheer love of the sport.
He did, however, post some Instagram stories from the match, heavily adorned with love hearts.
