Why This New Sunscreen Mist Is My Favorite Sun Protection

Visits: 41

These days, most of us are either at home in front of a screen or outside, social distancing under the sun. Because of this, wearing sun protection is just as important as it was before lockdowns were in place. Given that daily application is the dermatologist-recommended dose, I’ve been on the lookout for a formula that I’m actually happy to put on in the morning, and will reapply throughout the day. I want a sun protectant that is translucent, and doesn’t leave a white cast over the skin—something that is easy to rub in and maybe even smells good, if I’m lucky.

Enter: Habit’s N41 Mister, a broad spectrum SPF 41 UV ray protectant. Its mist form makes application quick, with an even finish. It’s also easy to reapply, as it can go over makeup without ruining a look or triggering breakouts. Not only that, it also gave my skin an instant cooling boost after playing tennis on a scorching hot afternoon, giving me even more of a reason—on top of avoiding skin cancer, hyperpigmentation and other unwanted skin issues—to keep using it throughout the day.

The mister’s floral-botanical scent of lavender and rosemary make it a soothing and therapeutic experience. Plus, it’s small enough to transport to the beach, or any other summer outing—which is ideal because I know I’ll be taking with me wherever I go for a quick mid-day sun protection boost, both now and beyond quarantine.
