To paraphrase author Fay Weldon, every time you open your wardrobe, you don’t just choose clothes—you decide who you’re going to be. Indeed, a closet isn’t just where outfits live—it’s where identity begins. It’s your personal gallery, your style archive, your daily moment of self‑definition. And now, with the launch of the FASHION Closet, that space becomes something even more dynamic.

Introducing the FASHION Closet: an immersive experience that’s part editorial studio, part brand showcase and entirely built for the FASHION fam community. Located at the FASHION HQ on Benton Road, it’s where curated looks meet creative expression, where behind-the-scenes becomes front and centre, and where your style story takes shape in real time. “The FASHION Closet is more than just a space—it’s a curated community where creativity, storytelling and innovation come to life,” says Deidre Marinelli, Publisher of FASHION. “We’re excited to open our doors to brands and collaborators who share our passion for what’s next in fashion, beauty and culture.”

To bring this vision to life, George Antonopoulos, Senior Creative & Fashion Director of FASHION & Events, wanted to immerse the closet in all neutral tones so the products to life. “It’s more than just racks and rails; it’s a curated hub of inspiration where the season’s most exciting pieces come to life before they hit the page,” explains Antonopoulos. “I wanted a space that reflects our creative process—a behind-the-scenes world where trends are shaped, ideas are born, and style is constantly reimagined.” Of course, with such creative ambitions, we needed partners who could build more than just furniture. They had to build the feeling. Enter IKEA and Taskrabbit, the power duo who brought the entire vision to life and turned chaos into curated calm.

In case you didn’t know, Taskrabbit is IKEA’s official assembly partner, meaning that with the help of hired professionals, setup went as smoothly as applying Fenty lip gloss. As one Taskrabbit rep puts it, “We’re here to make sure enjoying your new IKEA furniture is instant—and effortless.” And there’s science behind the sanity: IKEA’s 2024 Life at Home report reveals that one in three people find a tidy home boosts both physical and mental well-being. Using an industrial office as the canvas, IKEA transformed the space into a crisp white-and-black atelier. To hang our garment selections, PAX wardrobes and KOMPLEMENT drawers were seamlessly integrated into the walls. For lounging, we added STOCKHOLM chairs and lamps. To finish, geometric KALLAX shelving units were stacked along the back wall to house accessories, beauty products and all the tools of transformation. And speaking of beauty—what’s a great wardrobe without great products? That’s where Langton Social Club came in.

Created by Daniel Pillai, President and CEO of Langton PR, Langton Social Club is a platform that champions connection and creativity within the beauty, fashion and lifestyle space. Known for creating impactful media moments that celebrate authenticity and diversity, Pillai has long been a trendsetter—and was named one of The PR Net’s Most Influential Figures in Marketing & Communications globally. So when it came time to choose a launch partner, it was a no-brainer. “FASHION built a closet, and we brought the entire vibe,” shares Pillai of the partnership. “A closet may define your style, but no wardrobe is truly complete without the beauty arsenal to match.” And Langton Social Club certainly brought the armoury.
