BGMEA has launched Go Human, Go Green with 7 pledges to make a difference to the livelihood of garment workers, community and environment.
One of them is the Pledge to Culture Export of Bangladesh under which BGMEA aims to explore the opportunity of exporting Bangladeshi apparel by linking our rich culture and heritage with fashion. HSBC will sponsor BGMEA in its Pledge to Culture Export of Bangladesh.
In this regard an agreement was signed between BGMEA and HSBC at BGMEA’s PR and Media cell on 8 February. BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh Md Mahbub ur Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
BGMEA Vice President M.A. Rahim (Feroz), Director Mohammad Abdul Momen, Chair of BGMEA PR Committee Khan Monirul Alam (Shuvo), Chair of BGMEA Committee on RSC Nafis-Ud-Doula, and Country Head of Wholesale Banking, HSBC Bangladesh Kevin Green were also present at the agreement-signing ceremony.
