The outer planets take decades to go through all the signs of the zodiac, and they move at different speeds. In the case of Saturn and Neptune, they’re only together once every 36 years. Saturn is the planet of rules and regulations; Neptune is the planet of visionary ideals. When they meet, dreams can become reality.
Last year, Saturn and Neptune both spent time in Aries, where they’ll meet in February, and that gave us a taste of what might lie ahead. Aries is a sign of new beginnings and of direct action—often without compromise. The softness of Pisces, where Neptune has been for the past 14 years, will be gone, and Saturn will be quick to impose new rules of its own. Of course, the world won’t change drastically on the exact day these two planets come together—they have until 2061 to work through their potential.
Neptune is also in exact alignment with Pluto, two signs away in Aquarius. A similar alignment influenced the social revolution of the 1960s. Now, it is back again, until 2032, and it may signify a much more closely controlled society.
There is no doubt that the next few years will be challenging, but there will still be moments to treasure. Jupiter spends this year in Cancer and Leo, and can exercise its beneficial influence to help us. And Venus and Mars make several contacts during the year, bringing plenty of opportunities for romance.
2026 Horoscope Predictions:
Aries (March 21–April 19)

This may be the best year you can remember, and it will take you a while to get used to it. In the future, you’ll be able to see this year as a dividing point between the way your life used to be and the way it is now. The reason for this upheaval is the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries in February. It affects everyone, but because it’s in your sign, you get to feel it first. Neptune is going to stay in Aries until 2038, so there’s no escaping its influence. You will find that your life becomes less fixed and more flexible. If that sounds like a recipe for adventure, then you’re right, and that’s a good way to look at it. But at the same time, if you are looking for something more definite, then Neptune in your sign will make that hard to achieve. Neptune’s influence is, above all, fluid; there’s a tendency to break things down rather than build them up. But as an Aries, you will find a way to deal with that. You always do. A few days after Neptune enters your sign, Saturn does the same and will stay with you for a little more than two years. Saturn’s task is to make you stronger and harder. Perhaps it’s there to provide the firmness that Neptune is taking away. But in a few months, you will be a different person; you are rebuilding yourself for the long term.
Love: There are signs of a new relationship when the year is only a few weeks old. It has all the passion you could wish for, but there’s more to it than that. There is power and ambition in the mix—perhaps you hope that by getting together, you can help each other in your careers. As you might expect, it’s good for the first few months, but the differences between you will start to show. It will all look sweet again by November, but only if it lasts that long.
Work: When the Sun and Mars move through your sign around your birthday, activating the power of Saturn and Neptune as they do so, your career may take a different path. What you do in the first three months of the year should be seen as trying to fulfil your previous ambitions and then finding a way to leave that part of your life behind.
Money: There’s an unexpected boost in April, perhaps a payoff as you move from one career phase to another. June is also good, but the end of the year is best of all. Whatever way you have found to go forward under Saturn and Neptune, it is obviously well-paid.
Taurus (April 20–May 20)

This should be an easier year than last year, softer and more comfortable. Uranus leaves your sign after seven years of pushing and prompting, trying to get you to do things you didn’t want to do. As soon as it is gone, you’ll feel the release of tension and the calmness that you have been dreaming of. Will you slip back into your old ways or move forward on your own? You’re not opposed to the idea of progress; you just don’t like being pushed.
Love: In early January, you meet someone who thinks the same way you do. Maybe you like the same movies, or it might be something deeper, like a political cause you support. Whatever it is, it brings you closer, and this mental rapport is what drives the relationship. The physical side of it, if there is one, will come later. Throughout the final three months of the year, there seems to be a lot of arguments, and although there will be a satisfactory resolution, the relationship may lose something in the process.
Work: An eclipse at the top of your chart in February opens up a new path. You may wish the path opened up earlier, but it still has a lot to offer, and almost everyone you know says you should take it. It also picks up the influence of Uranus, which at this point is still in your sign, and which, as always, will push you to embrace change. But there is something else, a more personal project, that you would like to pursue, and if you were to take what this eclipse offers, you would have to let go of that. Maybe your other project could be put to one side for a year or so, maybe not. You will have to make the final decision.
Money: There are signs of long-term improvement from April onwards; short-term, there’s a dip in July, but it will be balanced by a little lift in December.
Gemini (May 21–June 20)

This year sets you free to do whatever you want. When Saturn moves out of the top sector of your chart in February, everything that has prevented you from moving upwards, or taking a new direction, will disappear. A few months later, Uranus enters Gemini, where it will stay into the early 2030s. Uranus brings a constant stream of new opportunities, showing you ways to do things that even you, with your ever-active imagination, never thought of. You love novelty and variety, things that fascinate and amuse you, and Uranus will give you as much of that as you could wish for. If you have been wondering when your time might come, the phase of your life when you could really be all that you wanted to be, then this is it.
Love: This new year seems rather low-key. If you’re in a relationship, you seem happy to keep it as it is for a while—and that’s fine, as long as you don’t take it for granted. If you’re on your own, you will have so many new experiences to explore and enjoy that you won’t have time to be lonely. The end of January could be surprisingly sexy, but it is also likely to be more emotionally intense than you want; somehow it feels more like the end of something rather than the beginning. There are more opportunities in April and in August, both of which are more about enjoying each other’s company than anything deeper, and for that reason are more likely to last. The very best times come at the end of the year when there is a warm romance on offer, if you want it.
Work: You’ll launch yourself into a new endeavour this year, but it could bring financial problems. Stay optimistic and all will be well.
Money: There may be tight spots in March, June and November, so prepare adequate backup. An eclipse in August may also bring a setback, but comfort yourself knowing it is better to find out sooner than later, when you would have wasted even more money.
Cancer (June 21–July 22)

This is a year of high achievement. After lots of hard work and patience, you finally reach your goals. Just as importantly, you will be given the rewards that you have so long awaited. There’s no need to look for your next big challenge just yet; take the time to enjoy the view from the top. You’re taking a step up, in every sense. Not just bigger and richer, but better and more mature. It provides a framework for the years ahead and will give you a sense of security.
Love: What you hoped would be a quiet, private affair seems to acquire a momentum of its own and be very visible to all. Only when Venus and Mars have moved to quieter sectors of the sky do you feel that you can get it all under control and start to enjoy it. Between May and September, it all moves along quite well—but then comes the big decision. Is it what you really want, deep down? This question, and the discussions it provokes, will be on your mind every day between October and December. Eventually, you will reach a decision you are happy with and that’s true to what you really want.
Work: The way your status at work moves up when Saturn and Neptune start to cross the top of your chart will be hard to miss, but what you might not be ready for is the glamour—Neptune won’t let you to stay in the background. You’ll have to get used to people looking to you for leadership and advice. You are capable, but it requires a certain confidence, and it will take you time to learn that.
Money: Jupiter’s presence in the money sector throughout the second half of the year will enlarge and enrich your life even further. With all three powerful planets active in your chart, your life is being improved and remodelled in ways you could never have imagined.
Leo (July 23–August 22)

Jupiter is coming back to Leo in time for your birthday, and from that point on your life will feel like one long celebration. Jupiter brings energy, movement, growth and success to everything it touches—and it will be all yours right into early 2027. It will be the start of a whole new Jupiter cycle, which lasts 12 years, so what you do this year is in some ways planting the seeds of your future prosperity. You will see growth in your long-term projects—and your ambitions—over the next three or four years, reaching a peak somewhere in the early 2030s. But all of that lies in the future; this year, you can simply enjoy the party mood that Jupiter always brings. The only thing you need to worry about is overindulgence: Jupiter simply provides more and more, so you have to set the limits yourself.
Love: You will get more in your love life, too. This year’s solar eclipses are in your own sign and the one opposite, which symbolises your partner, whoever that might be. So all the surprises, upheavals and breakthroughs that eclipses bring will be concentrated in your relationships. You can expect some memorable times, and almost none of it will be as you planned, because eclipses can be unpredictable. Nonetheless, by the time you get to the end of the year, you will be able to see that everything that happened was for the best, and that you probably wouldn’t have made the decisions you did if you hadn’t had the eclipses to push you.
Work: You seem to be entering a more stable phase, and at the end of the year you may be thinking about making an agreement for the long term. Make sure it’s not too restrictive.
Money: There are upsets in March and August, but an upswing in December shows that you’re over them and on your way back.
Virgo (August 23–September 22)

This is one of those years when everything changes, with Saturn and Neptune reshaping your future, Uranus altering your role at work and a lunar eclipse in your sign as well. The best way to deal with it is to ride whatever waves come along and see where they take you. Maybe you’ve never really thought about where you might be in five or 10 years, or what you might like to be doing. Let Saturn and Neptune open up some wider horizons and show you new possibilities. As always, you find it hard to step outside the routines you know, but that’s what Neptune is for—to stimulate your imagination. Then Saturn will help make those dreams into reality. Not instantly, but within the next year or so. At the same time, Uranus will provide new career opportunities for you, possibly in roles that didn’t even exist a few years ago yet are a perfect match for your talents. All you need is the confidence to push yourself forward.
Love: The movements of your ruling planet, Mercury, are often a good indication of what the coming year may bring, especially when it is in retrograde, which can have you reconsidering certain aspects of your life. This year, the emphasis is on your friends and the people you work with. As your path changes direction and new people come into your life, sometimes old friends drop away because you have less in common. It happens all the time, but this year the process seems to be happening much faster. The same may also be true in your closest relationship: are you growing apart from each other? In March, you may reach a point where you have to ask yourself where you go next, because going forwards is impossible and backwards seems pointless. But there is help at hand—Saturn and Neptune are already creating a new future for you, and it’s possible that this year they might also be finding you the right person to be with. If so, then a very different, and much happier, future awaits.
Work: Be prepared for sudden transitions. It is part of the way Uranus works, abruptly and unexpectedly; once you’re used to it, it’s nothing to worry about. It may well be that your present role at work will change without any warning or consultation—but another, quite different prospect will open up a few weeks later. It’s only then that you realise it was all meant to be, and the ending of one actually facilitated the other. Just be brave while it’s all happening.
Money: Your finances look promising this year—the best times are probably in March and from October onwards.
Libra (September 23–October 22)

This year has an almost perfect path, following the track of Venus, your ruling planet. It will have a powerful start, with high momentum and lots of distance travelled, then a gentle decline as it returns to your own sign towards the end of winter. The obvious message in this is to not wait to put your plans into action, but to start in January and make the most of your speed advantage. You also have the power of Jupiter to help, but only for the first half of the year, so that reinforces the message: start early, go fast.
Love: The biggest planetary event of the year is the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune, which will challenge everything you’ve become used to, especially in your closest relationships. From now on, you will find that the rules of relationships, and what shape they take, will be less defined. This year’s eclipses suggest that a long-held—and long-hidden—ambition could be realised within some sort of relationship. It was always something you said you never wanted, or that would never happen to you—but when it does, you’ll be delighted.
Work: The first half of the year is best, simply because you have Jupiter to help, which is as close to a guarantee of success as you could have. But it’s not all straightforward; there are clear signs that in June, as you push hard to reach your goal before Jupiter slips away, you will have to do some negotiating if you are to get what you want. The end result, though good, is likely to involve some sacrifices, such as no longer working on a favourite project or with a team you liked.
Money: April and June look favourable, and so does October, but November could be expensive. Once again, some sort of compromise may be needed.
Scorpio (October 23–November 21)

The rhythm of our existence is dictated by the cycles of the outer planets. Most of them are several decades long; some last for centuries. But this year, four of them reach significant stages in their development. All of those four involve your ruling planet Pluto—and so involve you, too. None of them are in any way threatening, but they affect the base of your life: the values you live by, the people you always return to and maybe the place you think of as home. Your relationship with all of these will change—not in a worrying way, just as part of the way that everything changes over time. You always like to keep things under control, but now you have no choice but to let go.
Love: This year is everything you could wish for, or at least for the first part. Venus and Mars, the celestial lovers, meet in early January in one of the social sectors of your chart, and an attraction will be immediate. You will flirt with each other briefly, but it won’t take long before you both plunge into a typically Scorpionic love affair, which has enough energy to keep you both interested right through the rest of the year.
Work: This looks like an outstanding year for your professional interests. Jupiter crosses the top point of your chart in July, and for the rest of the year it will open up all sorts of new routes to success. An eclipse in the same sector may also create an opportunity you weren’t looking for, but one you simply can’t afford to turn down.
Money: Finances are usually kept under firm control in true Scorpio fashion, but could rise and fall unexpectedly this year, influenced by unpredictable Uranus. Should you play safe with your money? Yes, but not entirely; Uranus likes those brave enough to take risks.
Sagittarius (November 22–December 21)

It’s time for you to spread your wings. Sagittarians need to see new places, but most of all they need something to inspire them. As the most intellectual of the signs, big ideas are important to you—and in recent months, you have spent too much time tied down to dull routines. Luckily, 2026 will fix all that. Your own planet, Jupiter, is about to enter the part of the sky that signifies both travel and learning, and that is exactly what you need. This is not just about taking more holidays; it’s about seeing different cultures and deepening your understanding of yourself. The conjunction of Saturn and Neptune is going to change the rules that everyone lives by. In your case, it won’t give you the success and money that other people seek, but your freedom is worth more than any of that.
Love: Changes will take place in your relationships, even those that have been settled for years. Uranus, the planet of disruption, takes up position on the partnership angle of your chart. It’s true that when Uranus puts alliances under stress they can break; but they can also be re-built to be stronger. If you are adaptable, then there’s no need to fear. But if you have become complacent, then Uranus will expose that. The same is also true if you feel you are happy on your own; Uranus will put someone new in your life to test all your assumptions.
Work: When an eclipse creates uncertainty in March, you’ll wonder whether it’s a sign to move on or hold on to what you have. Either way, it reminds you that you can’t take your position for granted.
Money: The start of the year looks promising, but a lean period in July will need extra care.
Capricorn (December 22–January 19)

This year is about laying foundations for your long-term future. The conjunction of Saturn and Neptune will sweep away all that you have worked for in recent years and force you to start again; but your previous experience, and success, will mean that rising to the top will be relatively easy. Mars, the planet of action, is below the horizon until August, showing that the real work is being done out of sight. You are not focusing on a single specific project here; you are reshaping the way you live, along with all your aims and motives. Do what seems best rather than what you know will bring a quick result. Listen to your inner voice, and above all, don’t rush.
Love: This year might be more intense than you expected. For Capricorns, emotional issues are always difficult, because the outcomes can be so unpredictable. But with Neptune now alongside Saturn, perhaps you can learn to swim in these fast-flowing waters. You are definitely making an effort here, and your partner responds to it with delight. In August and September, you will talk about what you want from each other. Even if you don’t reach immediate agreement, these discussions are proof that both of you are invested in the relationship.
Work: Professionally, you will do well in the first half of the year, but things become less certain later on. You may discover that being in a position of power gives you less freedom of action than you had originally hoped; you are held back by regulations and established procedures, and you will find that frustrating.
Money: February sees some important moves, and there is a big boost in August, perhaps from an unexpected source. As with everything else this year, think about the long term, and invest for your future.
Aquarius (January 20–February 18)

Your two ruling planets, Saturn and Uranus, are helpfully aligned to each other, giving you a clear sense of purpose. At the same time, Uranus moves to the part of your chart that expresses your creativity. If you have ever wanted to write a novel or start your own business, now is the time. Uranus is also in alignment with Pluto, which entered Aquarius last year. This placement makes far-reaching changes possible. It will last until 2028, so make use of it.
Love: Uranus’ new position is good for you. If you want to start a new relationship or take an existing one to the next level, then it will all happen just as you want it, and very quickly. The clarity of purpose that you are getting from Saturn and Uranus will show itself in this part of your life, too, leading to late-night discussions about your future. If this is a new relationship, then you seem to have skipped over the early period of uncertainty and gone straight into something normally found several years on. Obviously, this is positive, though it might not be a bad thing to go back and do the cute stuff as well—don’t let the relentless momentum of Saturn and Uranus prevent you from having a good time along the way.
Work: The first few weeks of the year are spent dealing with unfinished business. The real start to 2026 is in February, when the Sun and Mars pass through your sign, firing up Pluto and Uranus, and launching all your new ventures. You will do so well that you have a crisis of confidence: are you really this good? Yes, you are.
Money: The best period is February and March; a setback in August will be less severe than it appears to be at the time.
Pisces (February 19–March 20)

A period draws to a close, in every way, when Saturn and Neptune leave your sign at the end of January. Without the weight of Saturn, you will feel brighter and less restricted, but you may also feel that you are starting to drift. And what will you do without Neptune to inspire you? From now on, you will need to develop a more practical approach. You don’t have to overdo it—just be a little more sensible, and don’t trust Neptune to get you out of trouble as much as you used to. In many ways, having Saturn in your sign for the past two years has been training for this; you are already more capable than before. And as always, Saturn works you hard, but pays you well, so your lifestyle with those two planets in their new positions is going to be a lot richer and more luxurious than you might imagine. Is that a fair deal?
Love: A new realism prevails with a pair of lunar eclipses in your sign. Your partner may suggest that neither of you have been entirely true to yourselves in the personas you have presented to each other, but instead have been playing roles in the hope of winning the other’s approval. Playing different characters is something you do easily, and most of the time you enjoy it; but now might be time to be your real self—which, for a Piscean, is the hardest thing of all. The result will be a different relationship, but a more honest one, and better attuned to the mood of the new era than the unrealistic arrangement you had before.
Work: Jupiter is well placed this year to help you expand your present work role. In many ways, this is better than starting out all over again, and certainly more profitable, as you will see.
Money: April and May look good, but be ready for ripples of uncertainty as Neptune changes direction in July and December.
