Inside Pandora’s Celebrations For Copenhagen Fashion Week’s 20th Year

If Copenhagen Fashion Week SS27 belonged to anyone, a strong case could be made for Pandora. The jewellery brand was founded in the city in 1982, and has become synonymous with a week that’s emerged as one of the most dynamic and fun fashion weeks on the annual calendar.

This week, Pandora has spent the week threading itself through the city’s most significant moments, from the runways to the evening events that attract the coolest crowd in Copenhagen, in a series of partnerships celebrating emerging Danish design talent, the city’s creative community and its own local heritage.

The tone was immediately set on day one of the week, when Pandora jewellery appeared across the SS27 presentations and shows of TAUS and Anne Sofie Madsen, with the two Danish designers interpreting selected pieces through their own distinct creative perspectives. At Anne Sofie Madsen statement earrings added a delicate edge to looks, while at TAUS, jewellery was sewn into bodices, statement silver earrings accented draped looks, and chains also hung from skirts.

The collaborations sit within Pandora’s ongoing role as Headline Partner of CPHFW NEWTALENT for the third consecutive season, championing the next generation of Scandinavian fashion talent and showing how jewellery can elevate silhouette, storytelling and self-expression.

That same evening, attention turned to the Royal Danish Opera House, where Pandora partnered with Copenhagen Fashion Week on its Official Opening Gala, marking the event’s 20th anniversary. Guests arrived in their best looks, accented with Pandora of course. Among them was actress, advocate and Pandora muse Adwoa Aboah, who wore custom 14k white gold earrings and a necklace set with lab-grown diamonds. She was photographed alongside Louise Chen, Verona Farrell, Chili Dia, Paola Cossentino and Ryota.

Pandora CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier, who welcomed guests with opening remarks celebrating the brand’s enduring connection to the city where it was founded, wore a characteristically playful edit of the house’s own pieces, including a custom XL Pandora Wonders frog brooch. The evening was designed to be a celebration that echoed Copenhagen status as a leading global city of innovation, creativity, craftmanship and progressive design, all of which is woven through CPHFW at every turn.

The following night, the celebrations took a more intimate turn with a debut dinner at Daphne, chef Frederik Bille Brahe’s newly opened restaurant. Bringing together editors, creators, industry insiders and friends of Pandora, the evening honoured the designers participating in the CPHFW NEWTALENT programme and toasted the collaborative spirit that defines the week.

Aboah appeared again — this time in custom 14k yellow gold and lab-grown diamond earrings, an Organically Shaped Bangle and the Band of Clear Hearts Ring — with Pernille Teisbæk, Lara Bußmann and Chili Dia also on the guest list, alongside leading international editors and creators.

As the week continues, Pandora‘s dedication to supporting the creativity of emerging designers who are shaping the future of Scandinavian fashion is clear. More than four decades on from its beginnings as a small jewellery shop in the city the label’s investment in Copenhagen feels like a homecoming worth celebrating.
