About Lumière d’Issey:

Issey Miyake has specialised in minimalist, energetic, atmospheric fragrances since L’Eau d’Issey launched in 1992, becoming one of the defining scents of the decades. Their newest creation captures the essence of light and luminosity. The new fragrance from the house builds on this devotion to purity and atmosphere with the introduction of some warmer, more sensual notes. Composed by perfumers Marie Salamagne and Fabrice Pellegrin around the house’s core language of light and luminosity, the fragrance opens with sparkling orange blossom and organic green mandarin, before a pistachio and Australian sandalwood base leaves a smooth, sun warmed scent trail on the skin.

The bottle is just as considered and luxurious, taking six years in development. Using the traditional Japanese glass cutting technique of ‘kiriko ’, it is cut into a precise arrangement of triangular facets that perfectly capture the light.

Lumière d’Issey is now available from select retailers at $185 for 50ml and $251 for 100ml.
