Kendall Jenner’s Little Grey Dress Is All The Internet Can Talk About

Kendall Jenner and her new beau, Australian actor Jacob Elordi, made their official debut as a couple over the weekend with DeauxMoi sharing pictures of them heading to The Dorchester following the premiere of Elorid’s new movie The Dog Stars. And while it takes real effort to pull our eyes away from Elordi, another star pulled focus: Jenner’s body-con grey sheath.

Sleeveless, rounded at the neckline, body-skimming, and cut just above the knee, the dress was typical of Jenner’s minimalist aesthetic. She completed the look with Bottega Veneta pumps, a Hermès Kelly Pochette clutch and an understated pair of diamond earrings. And while we can’t accessorise with Jacob Elordi on our arms, as a collective we’ve been eagerly trying to track down the dress.

And we’re not alone. Instagram comment sections quickly split into two camps: fans calculating how tall and handsome Jenner and Elordi’s hypothetical children would be (Bottega toddler’s line anyone?) and fashion obsessives desperately trying to ID the look. Stylist Dani Michelle put everyone out of their misery by confirming the piece is vintage Dolce & Gabbana — meaning it isn’t an easy add-to-cart (although for those willing to dig, there are a few similar ’90s pieces currently floating around on Vestiaire Collective).

Jenner’s moment was a striking reminder of the understated power of the Little Grey Dress. The look calls back to one of the most enduring red carpet moments of that era: Kate Moss at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival. Moss arrived in a slate-grey, bias-cut sheath by Narciso Rodriguez, styled simply with tousled hair, a soft berry lip and chandelier earrings.
