THE RUNDOWN
- Lara Worthington will release her highly anticipated beauty range OMMAGE on September 29, 2026.
- The three piece range will include a tinted face cream, a range of lipsticks and a blending brush.
- Worthington collaborated with artist and graphic designer Brian Roettinger on the range’s unique aesthetic, drawing inspiration from a number of American artists.
Lara Worthington is officially giving the world of luxury beauty something to salivate over.
Her new luxury label OMMAGE will drop September 29 at OMMAGE.com along with counterspace at Dover Street Parfums Market in Paris and Climax Books in New York.
And in a world of barely there tinted lip oils and modest blush baumes she has promised to bring a much needed dose of sexiness, and taste, back to our vanity tables.
According to a recent interview with Business of Fashion, Worthington isn’t interested in playing in the crowded waters of “clean girl” aesthetics. “We kind of lost the sexiness, didn’t we?”, she said of beauty in her interview. As the original Australian bombshell we trust her opinion and she’s not wrong. After all, while fashion is conceptual beauty is a high contact sport: the flushed cheek, the just-bitten lip, the glistening sheen of sweat (or Baume Essential) on a cheekbone. And yet the beauty market, at least as it pertains to our bases has become quite serious, crowded with all maner of somberly packaged complexion enhancers. “A lot of the past eight years have been that beige world, and I had this strong vision to do something different,” she told the publication.

Worthington has always had a rebellious streak and she has launched with a core line that is petite but impactful.
Unlike many capsule brands, Worthington has chosen to launch with not only a barely-there face tint (though we’ll never get sick of a good skin tint), but also a range of vibrant red and bold orange lipsticks housed in latex-like glossy red cases. Design is the most immediately notable element of the range.
Worthington collaborated with artist and graphic designer Brian Roettinger (the creative force behind the branding of branding of Nécessaire and Skims) for the collection. The packaging was inspired by references from sculptor John Chamberlain whose sculptures were comprised of crushed and contorted automobile parts and artist Carol Bove, known for her warped and pummelled steel structures.
But for all the artistic references, wearability and ease is still a key factor for Worthington.
“OMMAGE began with a simple idea: that beauty can start with the object itself. I wanted to create sculptural pieces that feel as good in the hand as they do on the face,” Worthington said in a statement from the brand. “Every formula was developed to accentuate features, rather than mask or correct. My hope is that this core collection becomes what you reach for, return to, and make your own.”
Ommage Debut Collection:
- FIRST BASE: A 30 ml, buildable tinted cream ($44 USD) designed to hydrate and even tone without masking the complexion. Formulated in 12 shades named for physical gestures, it delivers a second-skin finish.
- LIP COAT: A buildable, long-lasting lipstick ($34 USD) that provides a blurring, hydrating finish. Available in 8 shades, it is designed to be worn as a velvety stain or layered for intense color payoff.
- BUFFER BRUSH: Conceived as an extension of the hand, this tool ($36 USD) pairs a weighted aluminum handle with ultra-soft vegan fibres for intuitive application.
