The 2026 78th annual Emmy Awards red carpet is underway, with celebrities like Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and Mariska Hargitay heading to the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
Today we are going to see more A-listers than usual thanks to hit shows like The Pitt, Euphoria, Widow’s Bay and Hacks on the nominations list, and with an A-list guest list we can expect some a veritable parade of red carpet serves. Typically, we see bolder looks at the Emmy Awards, which cover television and often summon up-and-coming stars like ELLE Next Gen nominee Shabana Azeez, who is attending for her hit television series The Pitt, a series nominated for 25 Awards. The 29-year-old has emerged on the red carpet in a champagne-gold hand-beaded Sophie Couture gown, setting the tone for a glamorous night.
What Is The Emmy Awards Dress Code?
The Emmy Awards have a formal, black-tie dress code, which translates to floor-sweeping gowns and fine tailoring. But stars also have a little more fun than they do at The Academy Awards and Golden Globes, with emerging talent wearing small designers and men opting for bold fine tailoring.
