Pantone Just Proclaimed Peach as 2024’s Key Colour—5 Shades It Looks Best With

Visits: 35

Yesterday, Pantone announced its annual Colour of the Year, showcasing a soft and palatable peach shade dubbed Peach Fuzz. The creamy shade is reminiscent of a warm sunset or a delicate flower petal. Cited by the company as “a cosy and comforting hue, nurturing compassion and heartfelt kindness”, the tone bridges the gap between warmth and comfort with romance and sophistication. Each year, Pantone’s Colour of the Year is said to capture the zeitgeist of the particular time. For its emphasis on calming and nurturing, Peach Fuzz expresses an optimistic energy that we hope to see realised in the forthcoming year.

Whilst the warm colour feels very in tune with trends that have flourished within the interiors landscape, the fashion world had largely veered away from peach, but evidently, that’s set to change. This past September predicted that the fresh tone was on the rise, as designers such as Bottega Veneta and
16Arlington wove the colour into their collections, in natural, wearable ways that played into the gentleness side of the soft shade. Whilst fashion and styling is an entirely personal process, from my time monitoring trends and working with stylists, I can confidently suggest the below colour pairings as an entry point to styling the newly trending tone.

Read on to discover every way we’ll be styling Peach Fuzz in 2024.
