CHARLOTTESVILLE – Environmental non-profit GreenBlue in partnership with US product testing and certification organisation NSF International has gone out to consultation on the proposed new Recycled Material Standard (RMS).
The RMS, which aims to serve as a voluntary tool to both assure claims of recycled content and incentivise investment in recycling, is due to be published in early 2021.
Consultation on the proposals is being sought from supply chain members across all manufacturing segments, as well as NGOs and other stakeholders with interests in the standard.
