Is that a picture from Emma Roberts' Aquamarine? Or maybe Tom Hanks's Splash? No, it's just Sydney Sweeney's latest ultra dreamy Instagram post. The Euphoria actress took to social media to share a few snaps of her laid-back life lately.
In one post, she could be seen lazily floating in the water in a teal-blue pool, wearing a thong bikini with black strings and borders and a white base. As Sweeney once said, "If I’m at the beach, I want tiny little straps and cute colors. If I’m at the lake, I want support so I can jump off any rock and not have to worry about my tits falling out.” She wore her hair down, letting it float effortlessly through the water, serving total mermaid vibes. The next slide was a video of Sweeney posing while underwater.
In another post, Sweeney posed happily on a sandy beach wearing a plunging minidress with off-the-shoulder straps and a pretty pink and white print. She wore her hair down in the perfect beachy waves.

Sweeney's latest holiday-infused updates come after the news that her wedding plans with Jonathan Davino may have been called off. The pair became engaged in 2022, but last month, TMZ reported that the wedding—planned for May of this year—had been postponed. Earlier this week, Sweeney reportedly deleted a photo of her kissing Davino from her Instagram. A source later gave an update to People, stating, “Things have been rocky for a long time.

Another source told Us Weekly, “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”

Sweeney has a lot on her plate in addition to her marriage plans. For one thing, the actress will star in the third and final season of Euphoria. She is also currently working on a number of other very different projects, including Scandalous!, in which she'll play Kim Novak of the golden age of Hollywood, and a yet untitled Christy Martin biopic, in which she'll transform into the famous boxer.
